Krishnaveni, serve as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Nirmala College for Women, Coimbatore. I hold a Ph.D. in Agricultural Labour from the University of Madras and an M.Phil. in Economics from Bharathiar University. Cleared State Eligibility Test (SET) in 2012,With over 11 years of teaching experience, I have taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Economics, specializing in Industrial Economics, Money and Banking, and Macroeconomics. I actively contribute to curriculum development. I serve as a member of the Board of Studies for several institutions and play a key role in framing syllabi for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. My efforts ensure that the academic framework remains current and aligned with industry needs. My research focuses on Agricultural Economics. I have published several research articles and book chapters in national and international journals, exploring topics such as the socio-economic conditions of agricultural women laborers and consumer behavior. In addition to my research, I guide undergraduate and postgraduate student projects. I also serve as a resource person at seminars, workshops, and training programs, sharing my expertise with a wider academic audience. I actively participate in professional organizations, holding life memberships with the Association for Economists of Tamil Nadu and the Madras Library Association. I engage in extension activities, visiting rural areas to conduct training programs and contributing to community development initiatives. I have also led several entrepreneurship development programs. My dedication to teaching and community service earned me the Best Teacher Award from InSc Bangalore in 2019. In summary, I continue to make significant contributions to education, research, and community service. My commitment to developing future scholars and supporting national development initiatives makes me an invaluable asset to both the academic community and society at large.
