Mustafa Demirkol
Mustafa Demirkol
, born in Istanbul in 1989, completed his undergraduate studies in Political Science and Public Administration at Fatih University with a 100% scholarship, graduating as the top student. He earned his master’s degree, also with a 100% scholarship, as a fellow of the Turkish Prime Ministry’s Atatürk Supreme Council for Culture, Language, and History, with a thesis on constitutional reconciliation in Turkish democracy. He later completed his Ph.D. at Istanbul University, focusing on metropolitan governance models for Turkey. With support from the TÜBİTAK 2219 Postdoctoral Fellowship, Dr. Demirkol spent 12 months at Malmö University's Urban Studies Department conducting research on alternative metropolitan management models. Since 2013, he has served as a faculty member at Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University, publishing extensively in respected national and international journals in political science and public administration.
