Mohammed Ruqaimi Remeli

Mohammed Ruqaimi Bin Remeli is a lecturer at the Faculty of Hospitality, Tourism & Wellness, Universiti Malaysia Kelantan. With a Master in Gastronomy (2012) and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Culinary Arts Management with a Minor in Foodservice Management (2010), both from Universiti Teknologi MARA, he has a strong academic foundation in the culinary and food service fields. Currently pursuing a PhD with a focus on food safety, Mr. Ruqaimi is passionate about improving food safety practices through academic research and practical applications. As part of the academic staff, Mr. Ruqaimi teaches various courses, including Introduction to Hospitality Industry, Hospitality Product Development, Restaurant and Food Service Management, Food and Beverage Management, and Occupational Safety & Health. Additionally, he served as the Hospitality Program Coordinator in 2017, contributing to the administrative management of the program. Despite the challenges of balancing academic and professional responsibilities, Mr. Ruqaimi remains committed to advancing knowledge in the field and contributing to the education of future hospitality professionals.
