Mithun Kumar Ghosh
Mithun Kumar Ghosh
currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Medi-Caps University, located in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. Previously, he held similar positions at Govt College Hatta, Damoh, and Pandit S.N Shukla University, Shahdol, both situated in Madhya Pradesh. He completed his doctoral studies in Chemistry at Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Amarkantak, specializing in the synthesis of transition/rare earth metal clusters with applications in catalysis and biology. Dr. Ghosh's ongoing research endeavors focus on synthesizing homo/heterometallic clusters, coordination polymeric complexes, and investigating their potential in antibiotic degradation and Single Molecule Magnets. Dr. Ghosh has authored 43 publications in renowned international journals and holds a patent. Dr. Ghosh actively contributes to the academic community by serving as a reviewer for various international reputed journals. His diverse research interests encompass Metal Organic Frameworks, Catalysts, Density Functional Theory (DFT), photocatalysis, and an array of chemical properties such as dye adsorption, DNA binding, cytotoxicity, antioxidant activity, and sensing properties.
