Minh Nguyen Van
Nguyen Van Minh
serves as the current Director of Ho Chi Minh City University of Fine Arts. His career encompasses more than twenty years at the university, commencing as a lecturer in the Faculty of Fine Arts in 1999. He advanced through multiple administrative positions, including Deputy Head of Political Affairs and Student Administration, as well as Acting Director of the Science Management and International Cooperation Department. His leadership experience encompasses serving as Vice Director responsible for training, subsequently Acting Director, before accepting his current role as Director. Dr. Minh specializes in art and design, particularly in lacquer craft and lacquer arts, as well as the approach of artistic composition. His lengthy stay at the university exemplifies a dedication to its progress and the enhancement of fine arts education in Vietnam. His background includes academic instruction and substantial leadership contributions to the school. Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Minh has authored numerous significant research publications in the fields of visual arts, art theory and history, art philosophy, art education, and particularly STEAM education.
