Michal Vavřík
Dr.
Michal Vavřík
is a sociologist and Assistant Professor in the Globalisation and Development Programme of the Beijing Normal-Hong Kong Baptist University (BNBU). He is interested in quantitative applications in comparative social research with particular focus on social and economic history, especially the intersections between kinship, culture, politics, and development. At BNBU Dr. Vavřík teaches courses in social science research methods, development studies, and political science.
