Meredith A. Riddle
Meredith Riddle
is an award-winning educator, author, and innovator with over 23 years of teaching experience and 18 years in higher education as an administrator. She currently serves as Acting Director of Teacher Certification and the Alternate Route Programs at Kean University’s College of Education. Dr. Riddle has led major initiatives in early college access and educator preparation especially the alternate route programs. Dr. Riddle is also a seasoned online instructor and was honored as the 2019 Daughters of the American Revolution New Jersey State American History Teacher of the Year, along with multiple Teacher of the Year awards. Dr. Riddle’s dissertation and higher education career have focused on alternate route certification and innovative approaches to educator preparation, with a commitment to expanding access and support for nontraditional teacher candidates.
