Meng Kui Hu

Meng Kui, Hu , PhD, MBA, Chartered Banker is a former senior banker with 26 years of banking experience in commercial and corporate banking. He actively engages with various governmental agencies and SMEs to promote strategic financial management and sustainable business growth. He is presently a member of the United Nations ESCAP Sustainable Business Network (ESBN) and its former Vice-Chair for the Digital Economy Task Force, promoting the dynamics of digitalisation for nations and businesses. Besides, he is currently the Chief Examiner of the Professionalism and Ethics programme and a member of the Industry and Curriculum Committee with the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers (AICB). Academically, he earned his BSc (Hons) in mathematics and PhD from Universiti Sains Malaysia. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Strathclyde, UK, and has completed the Professional Executive Programme at the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom. He authored two books entitled “SME Challenges and Solutions” and “Transforming Family Businesses”.
