Associate Dean of Research (FCA) | Associate Professor | Coordinator - AI & ML Course | Research Coordinator Ganpat University, Gujarat, India Dr. Meghna Patel is a distinguished academician and researcher with over 17 years of experience in teaching and research. Currently serving as the Associate Dean of Research at the Faculty of Computer Applications (FCA), Ganpat University, she also holds the positions of Associate Professor, Coordinator of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Course, and Research Coordinator at the university. Dr. Meghna Patel obtained her Ph.D. in 2018 from Ganpat University. Her research interests include Image Processing, Biometric Authentication, Pattern Recognition, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning. She has made significant contributions to these fields through her extensive research publications, patents, and mentorship. Academic & Research Contributions: Publications: Authored 41+ research papers in reputed international journals and conference proceedings. Book Chapters: Contributed 9 book chapters in Scopus-indexed international books. Patents: Filed 3 patents showcasing her innovative research. Mentorship & Academic Leadership: Guidance: Supervised 50+ UG students and 140+ PG students for industrial projects; currently guiding 4 Ph.D. scholars. Research Projects: Mentored 8 research projects and won various awards. Academic Roles: Served as Faculty Sponsor of the Ganpat University ACM Student Chapter and Webmaster in the Ahmedabad ACM Chapter.
