Md. Shamim Talukder

Md. Shamim Talukder is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management at North South University, Bangladesh. He received Ph.D. degree major in Management Science and Engineering from the School of Management, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China and MBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. His research interests converge at the intersection of End User Computing and Human-Computer Interaction, encompassing a spectrum of subjects such as consumer behavior, ethical AI Use, gerontechnology, technology adoption and diffusion, sustainability, and misinformation. He focuses on unraveling the intricate relationship between individuals, society, and technology, emphasizing optimizing accessibility, usability, and overall user experience. He employed predominantly quantitative research methods while also demonstrating competence in mixed methods. Through these methodological lenses, his investigations aim to offer valuable insights into the dynamic realm of human-computer interaction, contributing to its continued evolution and its profound implications for society. His research has been published in journals such as Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Internet Research, Industrial Management and Data Systems, Technology in Society, Journal of Systems and Information Technology, and The British Food Journal. He is a reviewer for many peer-reviewed journals, including Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Internet Research, Computer in Human Behavior, Information Technology and People, Enterprise Information Systems, and the Journal of Systems and Information Technology.
