Mary Jane C. Sim
Mary Jane C. Sim
is an Assistant Professor II at Cebu Technological University–Main Campus and the OIC-University Director for Gender and Development. She holds a Doctorate in Development Education, along with degrees in Development Communication and English Teaching. Her multidisciplinary teaching spans education, literature, and management, complemented by active involvement in research and extension services. Her scholarly interests include Gender and Development, educational innovation, and the ethical use of emerging technologies. As a co-author of the book chapter on AI shaming in teacher education, she draws from her doctoral expertise to examine the socio-cultural impacts of AI on teacher identity and practice.
