Marius Nica
Marius Nica
is an Associate Professor at the Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiești, where he has been teaching Romanian literature, Didactics, and Romanian as a foreign language since 2001. He holds a PhD in Philology from the “G. Călinescu” Institute of Literary History and Theory of the Romanian Academy and a Master's in Language and Literature Didactics. His scholarly interests focus on Romanian literary identity, cultural discourse, and hermeneutics. He is the author of Ocheanul balcanic. Imaginarul literar în opera lui Mateiu I. Caragiale (The Balkan Spyglass: The Literary Imaginary in the Works of Mateiu I. Caragiale), a landmark study in Romanian literary criticism, and has published over 50 academic articles. Dr. Nica has contributed to numerous national and international conferences and research projects. He currently serves as the Director of the Publishing House of the Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiești.
