Maria Albertina Barreiro Rodrigues
is a Member of the Board of Auditors of Bank of Portugal, since 2023. Integrated Member of CETRAD – Centre for Transdisciplinary Development Studies. Ambassador of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Portugal Alliance, United Nations Global Compact Network. Professor at Universidade Europeia. Invited Professor at Lisbon Accounting and Business School; ISM - International School of Management, Germany and ISCAM, Mozambique. PhD in Management; specialist in Financial Audit; postgraduate studies in Digital Education; MBA in Management; Degree in Business Management and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Administration. Has published academic articles in journals in the research areas of corporate reporting, sustainability, integrated reporting, audit, assurance, corporate governance, ethics, and higher education. With a professional career of over 30 years, 5 as Chair of Audit Committees of public sector entities, 3 as Manager of the Advisory Department, and 10 as Financial Manager of an international company. Financial and statutory auditor, Member of committees from the Portuguese Institute of Statutory Auditors, Certified accountant since 1992.
