Margarita Isabel Asensio-Pastor
Margarita Isabel Asensio Pastor
has an International PhD in Human and Social Sciences. Degree in Hispanic and Arabic Philology; Diploma of Advanced Studies and Research Proficiency in Arabic Studies; Master in Teaching SFL. She is currently Permanent labor teacher at the University of Almeria in the Dept. of Education -Didactics of Language and Literature-. She has been lecturer MAE-AECID at the University of Jordan, teacher-collaborator at the Cervantes Institute in Amman and Alexandria, teacher of Spanish Language and Literature of the Spanish Ministry of Education in several Spanish Sections in Italy. She has collaborated in several research projects such as “Library of Al-Andalus: authors from S to Z”, “RefugiaDOS: comprehensive reception and integration for vulnerable asylum seekers and refugees” and the R&D Project “The Public Discourse on Refugees in Spain”. Her research focus on Didactics of language and literature L1/SL-AL, Academic literacy, Critical Discourse Analysis.
