María Eugenia Maciá-Torregrosa

María Eugenia Maciá Torregrosa is Architect (2000) and holds a PhD in Architecture (2011) from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. She has two research sections granted by the National Commission for the Evaluation of Research Activity (CNEAI). Professor accredited by ACAP in the figures of doctor of private university, assistant professor doctor and contract professor doctor. She began her research career in 2001 at the Eduardo Torroja Institute for Construction Sciences (IETcc) belonging to the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). From that moment until today, she has developed a long research career participating in research projects and publications of works related to construction materials and their behavior at high temperatures. Currently, she is Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture and Design at the Universidad San Pablo-CEU (CEU Universities), where she has been working since 2006, teaching in Spanish and English in the Degree in Architecture in Construction Materials, Construction Analysis and Construction Project I and II subjects and being Construction Consultant of the Final Degree Projects. Since 2017 she teaches different training activities in the PhD courses of the CEINDO (Doctoral School of the Universidad San Pablo-CEU) being coordinator of the training activity AF4 “Transfer of Research Results” within the programme in Composition, History and Technique in Architecture.
