María-Elena Lindez-Macarro
, professor in the Department of Financial Economics and Accounting at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (URJC). She obtained her degree in Economics at the University of Granada, and continued her postgraduate studies with the Master in Tax and Financial Consultancy in a National and International Framework at the URJC, where she has been teaching since March 2022. Her doctoral thesis focuses on the causes and consequences of digital financial fraud that especially affects the elderly. She has published articles on this topic in journals such as the International Journal of Bank Marketing.
