Mallanagouda Patil
Mallanagouda Patil
is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering and also heads the Training and Placement Centre at RV Institute of Technology and Management (RVITM). He holds a Ph.D. and M.Tech from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, and a B.E. degree from Karnataka University, Dharwad (KUD). With a rich blend of 12 years in the software industry and over 17 years in academia, Dr. Patil also brings valuable research experience from his tenure at the Electronics & Radar Development Establishment (LRDE), DRDO, Ministry of Defence, Government of India. His international professional experience spans Japan (NEC), UK (Vodafone), South Korea (Samsung), and USA (HP), where he worked for five years in roles ranging from Software Specialist and Project Leader to Technology Consultant. His technical expertise covers Real-Time Embedded Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Expert Systems, Network Management, and Device Drivers. Dr. Patil is a prolific researcher with over 30 publications, including 17 Scopus-indexed journals, Three Q2, Two Q3 and One Q4 Journals, Five Book Chapters, Three Authored Books, and Eleven IEEE International Conference papers. He has actively contributed to the research community as a Technical Program Committee (TPC) member and Session Chair at Springer and EEE international conferences, including those held in Singapor.
