Maemuna Muhayyang

Dr. Maemuna Muhayyang , M.Pd. is a distinguished academic and lecturer at Universitas Negeri Makassar, where she holds the position of Lektor Kepala (Associate Professor). She was born in Ma'rang on July 5, 1974, and has built a solid educational foundation with degrees in English education, educational theory, and communication culture from reputable institutions in Indonesia. Over the years, she has developed expertise in teaching courses such as Phonology, Bilingualism, Educational Psychology, and Research in English Language Teaching (ELT). Her research spans various aspects of language learning, including enhancing vocabulary skills in students through innovative methods and exploring the effectiveness of corrective feedback in English writing instruction. She has actively contributed to community development programs by providing training for teachers in interpersonal communication and academic writing. Dr. Muhayyang has published numerous articles in both national and international journals, focusing on blended learning, students' perceptions of weekly quizzes, and teachers' professional competencies in English language education. Her work also extends to presenting at several international conferences, where she has discussed issues like the role of English as a foreign language (EFL) teachers in classroom management and factors influencing student learning. In addition to her academic articles, Dr. Muhayyang has authored books, including a collection of hybrid learning poems and a guidebook on educational research fundamentals. Her dedication to advancing English education in Indonesia is reflected in her extensive research, publications, and community engagement efforts.
