Maajid Mohi Ud Din Malik
Maajid Mohi-Ud-Din Malik
is an accomplished educator and researcher in radiology and medical imaging technology. He is an assistant professor at the Dr. Dy Patil School of Allied Health Sciences in Pune, India. Dr. Malik earned his PhD in Radiology and Imaging Technology from Singhania University (2020-2023), his MSc in Radiation Imaging Technology from NIMS University (2017-2019), and his BSc in Medical Imaging Technology from Swami Vivekanand Subharti University (2013-2016). With over 7 years of experience, Dr. Malik has developed excellent teaching, guidance, counselling, and problem-solving skills. He has previously held assistant professor roles at GD Goenka University and the College of Paramedical Sciences at Adesh University. He also worked briefly as a clinical radiographer at MMAMB Hospital from 2016 to 2017. Dr. Malik has an impressive record of 39 publications in international journals, such as the Journal of Pharmaceutical Negative Results, NeuroQuantology, and the International Journal of Paediatrics. He is also the author of 23 published books on specialised topics in radiology and medical imaging. His notable research projects include studying the role of ultrasonography in urinary tract diseases and estimating radiation dose using CT scans based on sex and body weight. Dr. Malik has presented his research at conferences, including the NAMASTE 2023 conference. He received the Kashmir's Most Influential Author 2022 award by Auyk Media. His skills include teaching, counselling, leadership, collaboration, problem-solving, time management, adaptability, and critical thinking. He is proficient in software like MS Office, Project, and Excel. Dr. Malik is actively involved in his field as a life member of the Indian Society of Radiological Technologists and as Editor-in-Chief for Radiology Hub. His well-rounded expertise and passion for teaching make him well-suited for university-level teaching roles.
