Dr.
Mercy Toni
is a Lecturer in the Department of Economics and Finance, College of Economics, Management and Information Systems, University of Nizwa since 2008. She has over 32 years of experience in the field of teaching Economics, Statistics and other Economics and Business-related courses. Her field of interest is Micro & Macro Economics and has been working on areas such as Co-operative Learning, Money and Banking, and Population Growth. She has also attended the State Council of Education Research and Training in 2006 from India and regularly participates in Teacher’s Cluster and Guild events. Dr. Mercy has completed her Ph.D. in Economics from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, India, M.A (Economics) from M.G. University, Kottayam, India, B.Ed. (Social Science) from M.G. University, Kottayam, Kerala, B.A (Economics) from M.G. University, Kottayam, Kerala, DCE and DCA. She also has 3 years of industrial experience in the field of Finance, Accounting & Management and 3 Years of experience in the field of teaching Communicative & General English.
