M Shohidullah Miah
, International University of Business Agriculture and Technology, Dhaka-1230, Bangladesh; Dr. Md. Shohidullah Miah is a professor at the College of Agricultural Sciences, IUBAT. Dr. Miah did his B.Sc. and Master’s in Fisheries from Bangladesh Agricultural University. He was awarded his Ph.D. in Aquaculture at the University of Malaya, Malaysia. Dr. Miah has also been a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) and the Center for Excellence (COE) Japan. He has professional experience of over 33 years in fisheries research and environmental water pollution control. His special interests are wastewater treatment, fish population dynamics, mass culture of animal food, biochemical analysis, and food preservation. Dr. Miah has published more than 40 academic papers and is the author of several technical reports.
