M. Shabri Abd. Majid
, M.Ec is a Professor in Islamic Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Syiah Kuala, Indonesia. He received his Sarjana Ekonomi (SE) from Syiah Kuala University, Indonesia, in 1995. He completed his Master of Economics (M.Ec) and Ph.D. in Financial Economics from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in 1998 and 2005. He has served Kulliyyah of Economics and Management Sciences (KENMS) IIUM as the Assistant Professor (2011-2008) and the Associate Professor for six years (2009-2011). He has been Currently, he is the Coordinator, the Ph.D. in Economics at the Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK), Indonesia. His research interests include financial economics, applied econometrics, Islamic economics, banking, and finance. He has published more than 100 articles in international journal.
