Lori A. Norton-Meier

Lori Norton-Meier is the director of the Richard O. Jacobson Center for Comprehensive Literacy and a professor of literacy education at the University of Northern Iowa. Her research explores the role of play and inquiry in teaching and learning, focusing on media literacy, family inquiry, and argument-based learning in science. She has published extensively, including editing two books where teachers write about their own research and learning experiences in the classroom.
