Leslie Simon
Leslie Simon
is a Caribbean native and a recent graduate of Kean University, where she earned her B.A. in Psychology, and Montclair State University, where she completed her Master’s degree in Psychological Sciences. Before graduating from Kean University, she spent a year at Roskilde University in Denmark as an International Humanities & Global Studies major, where she conducted research on culture as a defining factor in the emergence of Kenya’s Umoja Village. Her time abroad has spurred her interest in various cultures and languages. She speaks and reads a fair amount of German, French, and Danish. Upon completion of her graduate studies at Montclair State University, completion of her graduate studies at Montclair State University, Ms. Simon intends to obtain her doctoral degree in clinical psychology and progress toward a career in research. Leslie has also worked as a residential mental health counselor at a psychiatric facility in Southern New Jersey, where she oversaw the treatment and progress of adolescent girls struggling with various psychological disorders. Currently, she is an adjunct professor of psychology at her alma mater, Kean University, as well as Essex County College and Middlesex College.
