Leo S. F. Lin
Leo S.F. Lin
holds a PhD in International Development and Security Studies from the University of Southern Mississippi. He is a Senior Lecturer at Charles Sturt University’s School of Policing Studies. With over 20 years of experience in policing and security, he has taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses in criminal justice, security studies, and emergency management across various institutions. His research focuses on transnational security, cybercrime, AI-enabled offenses, and emergency management in the Indo-Pacific. Dr. Lin has published numerous journal articles, book chapters, and four books, including an edited volume on Asia-Pacific security, and is currently authoring and editing two books on crime and security. He leads innovative research on cybercrime and risk policy, contributing to advancements in criminology and emergency management policy and practice.
