Lazar Živković
Lazar Živković
, PhD, is a Research Associate and Head of the Innovation Economics Department at the Institute of Economic Sciences in Belgrade, Serbia. With over 12 years of experience in research and innovation policy, he has gained extensive expertise through participation in more than 20 national and international projects. Since 2017, he has been providing expert support in the creation and implementation of strategic frameworks in the fields of research and innovation, focusing on data analysis and addressing challenges within the innovation ecosystem in Serbia. Since 2019, he has served as an expert on projects for organizations like the European Commission's JRC, UNDP, EBRD, and Regional Cooperation Council, focusing on methodological analyses, indicator development, and evaluating innovation policy impacts in Serbia and the Western Balkans. Throughout his career, he has authored more than 40 scientific papers published in international and national journals and has presented his research at numerous academic and professional conferences in the field of innovation. His areas of expertise and interest include innovation economics, innovation management, and science and innovation policy.
