Lalit Singla
currently working as an Associate Professor in Apex Institute of Management (AIM), Chandigarh University, Gharuan (Mohali) is a seasoned academician, researcher and a strong administrator with a rich background in management education and industry experience. He holds a Ph.D. in Management from the School of Management Studies, Punjabi University, Patiala, His academic journey includes an MBA with specializations in Marketing and Finance from Kurukshetra University Dr. Singla brings over 17 years of teaching experience to his role. Prior to his current position, he held academic roles at Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Asra Institute of Advanced Studies,RIMT University among others. His teaching portfolio spans various domains of business administration, reflecting his expertise in areas such as Sales Force Management, Consumer Behavior, and Strategic Marketing.He is on the panel of paper setting commitees of various universities. Dr. Singla's research contributions are substantial, highlighted by his publication record of 42 research papers in UGC-Listed and ABDC 'C' Category Journals, alongside 08 text/edited books. He has 03 Research papers communicated in Scopus indexed journals and 01 in scopus indexed conference. He is actively engaged in research supervision, having successfully guided 10 Ph.D. scholars to completion, with one nearing the end of their doctoral journey. He is also the key resource person in various national and international conferences. In addition to his academic achievements, Dr. Singla has practical industry experience, having worked as a Sales Executive and Business Marketing Executive early in his career. His industry insights complement his academic prowess, making him a well-rounded educator capable of bridging theoretical concepts with real-world applications. His dedication to advancing management education through research, teaching, and mentorship underscores his commitment to academic excellence. He is an active member of the department who is very popular amongst the students as he is instrumental in giving their career a professional bent of mind and also brings latest pedagogies like role play activities, case study discussions, group discussions, presentations, management games etc to the classroom.
