Dr.
Lakesia Tucker
is the Acting Chair of the Department of Human Services and the Dean of the College of Graduate and Professional Studies at South Carolina State University, where she has served for over ten years. Her primary research interests include domestic violence, leadership, and women’s health. With a strong background in social work, Dr. Tucker brings extensive experience from both state agencies and nonprofit organizations, enriching her academic and administrative leadership with real-world insight and impact.
