Madhukumar K
is a distinguished academician in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Composites, holds a Ph.D. in the field and has dedicated over 13 years to academia. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology, this scholar’s academic journey reflects a deep commitment to advancing knowledge in the discipline. With broad research interests spanning Material Science, Light Alloys, Composites, Artificial Aging, and Tool Design, the diverse expertise positions him as a well-rounded authority within Mechanical Engineering. In addition to teaching, substantial contributions have been made through various publications. As the author of the textbooks Beyond Boundaries: The World of Additive Manufacturing and Smart Materials and Applications, there is a profound understanding of these subjects. Furthermore, the scholarly impact is reinforced by the publication of five book chapters with respected international publishers. The academic and research contributions are highlighted by 18 research papers published in reputable international journals, and 10 papers presented at national and international conferences. Additionally, eight patents have been issued, underscoring practical contributions to the field.
