Kisha Bryan Jordan
Kisha Bryan Jordan
is an Associate Professor of Education in the Department of Teaching & Learning at Tennessee State University in Nashville, Tennessee. She currently serves as a director (2023-2026) on the TESOL International Association Board of Directors. Her research focuses on adolescents’ intersectional identities and the role of language, literacy, and racial ideologies in identity construction. She is a public scholar and advocate for marginalized peoples around the world. Her research has been published in Teachers College Record, TESOL Journal, English Journal, and Language Magazine.
