Kenneth Leow

Dr. Kenneth Leow is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at Heriot-Watt University Malaysia. He currently serves as Programme Director for the PhD in Social and Behavioural Science. He received his B.A. in Psychology and M.Sc. in Counselling from the University of North Texas (USA), and completed his Ph.D. in Education and Human Development from the University of Rochester (USA). Dr. Leow's research focuses on human motivation, social support, and well-being in social contexts from the perspective of Self-Determination Theory. Prior to joining Heriot-Watt University, Dr. Leow has conducted research and taught Psychology in the United States and Canada for the past 11 years. He is also an active member of the Malaysian Psychological Association.
