Kelly Burmeister Long

Kelly Burmeister Long is an Assistant Professor in the Ed.D. program in Higher Education Leadership and Practice at the University of North Georgia (UNG). Prior to UNG, she served as the Assistant Vice President of Institutional Research at a private college and held a similar role at a community college. In these roles, she oversaw accreditation, assessment, business intelligence, and external reporting. She has also worked as a Survey Methodologist at Boston Children’s Hospital and Mayo Clinic. She is a former editor and long-time peer reviewer for the Community College Journal of Research and Practice and is a peer reviewer for the Higher Learning Commission. Dr. Long holds a M.S. in Survey Methodology from the University of Michigan and a Ph.D. in Education Leadership from Oakland University.
