Kamal Nain Sharma
Dr.
Kamal Nain Sharma
is an accomplished academic and researcher with over 21 years of teaching experience in computer science and IT. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from IKGPTU, specializing in medical image processing for breast cancer detection. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Lovely Professional University, he has previously held key positions such as Associate Dean (Research) and Head of IT at LKCTC, Jalandhar. Dr. Sharma’s research interests include medical image processing, software engineering, and network security, with numerous publications in Scopus/UGC Care journals and international conferences. He is also a co-author of the book Blockchain Technology and its Applications and holds a patent on an IoT and AI-based physiotherapy apparatus. Beyond research, he has contributed as a resource person for guest lectures, coordinated academic and administrative initiatives, and actively engaged in professional bodies such as ISTE and CSI.
