Joana Martins
Joana Martins
is an invited assistant professor at the School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto (ESE-IPP) and is part of the Technical-Scientific Unit of Mathematics, Sciences and Technologies. She holds a Master's Degree in Teaching 1st Cycle of Basic Education and Mathematics and Natural Sciences in the 2nd Cycle of Basic Education (2023) and a Degree in Basic Education (2021) from ESE-IPP. She has actively participated in national and international teacher training initiatives, including participation in the Erasmus+ KA-131 project focused on the articulation of knowledge, mathematics education and robotics (Bilbao, 2023) and also in the Erasmus+ KA-220 project focused on sustainability, technology and teacher training (Florence, 2023). Her research activity has focused on the area of mathematics education, with a special interest in the intersections between mathematics, technology and pedagogical innovation, with several notable national and international publications.
