Irvanizam Irvanizam
Irvanizam Irvanizam
was born in Teupin Raya, Pidie, Aceh, Indonesia, in 1981. He received the B.Sc. degree in mathematics science majoring in informatics from Universitas Syiah Kuala, Banda Aceh, Indonesia, in 2002, and the M.Sc. degree in computer science from the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Bolzano, Italy, in 2010. He is currently a PhD student in Computer Science from Universitas Sumatera Utara, Medan, Indonesia. From 2014 to 2022, he was the Deputy Chairman of the Department of Informatics, Universitas Syiah Kuala, where he was the Head of the Laboratory for Database and Data Mining, Department of Informatics, from 2010 to 2014. He is currently an Associate Professor in applied informatics or computer science with the Department of Informatics, Universitas Syiah Kuala. He is also the author of publications in international journals and conference proceedings, many of which are indexed by Scopus and Web of Science, such as IEEE Access, Applied Computational Intelligence and Soft Computing, Axioms, Advances in Fuzzy Systems, and some marvelous IEEE proceedings. He published a book chapter titled “Improved MABAC Method for Multicriteria Group Decision Making with Trapezoidal Fuzzy Neutrosophic Numbers” in the “Handbook of Research on Advances and Applications of Fuzzy Sets and Logic” (IGI Global, 2022) edited by Dr. Said Broumi. His current research interests include neutrosophic sets, decision support systems, fuzzy sets and its application, soft computing, multiple-attribute decision making, and multiple-criteria group decision making. Mr. Irvanizam is currently a member of some professional associations, such as the International Association of Engineers (IAENG) society of computer science, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the Association of Higher Education of Informatics and Computer (APTIKOM), and the Institute of Engineers Indonesia (PII). He regularly serves as a Reviewer for some prestigious technical and international journals, such as Expert Systems with Applications, Artificial Intelligence Review, Soft Computing, Case Studies in Thermal Engineering, Systems and Soft Computing, Machine Learning with Applications, Operations Research and Decisions, International Journal of Information Technology and Web Engineering (IJITWE), Journal of Computational and Applied Mathematics, and Mathematical Biosciences and Engineering (MBE).
