Şirin Nur Yacı
Şirin Nur Yaci
is a researcher at Dokuz Eylul University Distance Education Application and Research Center (DEUZEM). She graduated from the Computer Education and Instructional Technology department with her undergraduate degree from Anadolu University and graduate degree from Dokuz Eylul University. She is currently pursuing a PhD candidate in the same department at the Middle East Technical University. With approximately 6 years of experience in educational technology, throughout her professional career, she has worked on various projects, including the design of blended learning environments, particularly focusing on the flipped classroom method, content creation for e-learning environments, educational video production, voice-overs for multimedia products, website usability, and content design for AR applications. She has also contributed to various national projects as a researcher, trainer, and guide. In her current position at DEUZEM, she is responsible for developing educational content, supporting faculty members and students in utilizing the LMS effectively, reporting on the center’s activities, and arranging studies to improve the quality assurance of distance education at the university. Additionally, she contributes to research projects in the broader teaching and learning domain.
