Irene Guevara-Herrero

Irene Guevara-Herrero is Graduated in Early Childhood Teaching and MS in Education for Social Justice from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM). She is currently PhD student and pre-doctoral fellow (FPI-UAM) in the Specific Didactics department at UAM. She belongs to the Educational Change for Social Justice Research Group and is a member of the UNESCO Chair of Education for Social Justice (UAM). Her main line of work is research in Didactics of Socio-Environmental Education to awaken a critical sense through argumentation, the use of evidence and socio-scientific controversies. She has participated in several innovation and research projects in Education and she is principal researcher of two research and transfer projects.
