Ian Eddie
Professor
Ian Eddie
received his PhD from The University of New England for research analyzing consolidation accounting practices in the Asia Pacific region. He also received a Master of Economics by research from The University of Sydney, investigating asset valuation in imperfect markets, and a Bachelor of Economics Honours from The University of Sydney for research examining purchase and pooling accounting methods in business combinations. Before commencing at Excelsia College, Professor Eddie was the Vina Capital Professor of Private Equity at RMIT International University Vietnam. Previous to this appointment, he was a Professor of Accounting and Corporate Governance and Director of the Graduate College of Management at Southern Cross University, Professor of Accounting and Dean of the Faculty of Business and Government at the University of Canberra, and Associate Professor and Head of the New England Business School at the University of New England.
