, Ph.D., Working as Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, Rayat Shikshan Sanstha’s Abasaheb Marathe Arts and New Commerce, Science College, Rajapur, Dist- Ratnagiri, Maharashtra, India Dr. Hemantkumar N. Akolkar is an academician and researcher for last 14 years at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. He has taught subjects like Heterocyclic Chemistry, Green Chemistry, Organic Spectroscopy, Organic Stereochemistry, Chemistry of Natural Products during his career. He possesses Masters in Organic chemistry and Ph.D. in Chemistry from Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. He has 60+ research papers in national and international journals and conferences of repute, 6 patents, 3 books and 9 book chapters. His areas of interest are Heterocyclic Chemistry, Synthetic Organic Chemistry and Green Chemistry. He is reviewer of several journals in Chemistry of international repute.
