Hemachandra Padhan
Hemachandra Padhan
completed his PhD and Post-Doc Equivalent Fellowship (PDEF) from Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, IIT Madras. MA in Applied Economics and PG Diploma in Statistics and Research Methodology from Pondicherry Central University, Pondicherry. He was awarded as Post-Graduate Merit Fellowship for University Rank Holder (2014-2016); National Fellowship (2018) and CBSE-UGC NET. Before joining IIM Sambalpur, he has been associated with Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Mumbai and Symbiosis School of Economics (SSE) Pune as an Assistant Professor in Economics. His research interest is in the areas of Energy Economics, Finance & Strategy, Environmental Sustainability, Macroeconomics and Applied Econometrics. His work has appeared in top-tier journals including Energy Economics, Energy Policy, Resources Policy, Renewable Energy, Frontier in Energy Research, Environmental Science and Pollution Research, Energy and Environment, Environment, Development & Sustainability, International Review of Economics and Journal of Public Affairs. He received many rewards from national and international level. He is also working with projects from the ICSSR.
