Hammad Ahsan
Hammad Ahsan,
Assistant Professor of Political Science in the Government of Punjab, Pakistan. He holds an MPhil in International Relations and is currently pursuing a Ph.D in International Relations with a focus on the Indian Ocean Region. His academic interests encompass maritime security in the Indo-Pacific, energy geopolitics, the Indian Ocean Region (IOR), and strategic studies. Since beginning his teaching career in 2012, he has taught a wide range of courses in political science and international relations and has authored multiple research papers. He maintains an active interest in policy research, academic writing, and contributing to debates on Pakistan’s strategic environment. His current research engagements include maritime security, nuclear deterrence at sea, and the strategic transformation of Azerbaijan’s energy sector.
