Halimat Amin Abdulrahim

Dr. Halimat Amin Abdulrahim is a respected biochemist and medical educator at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. With a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and additional qualifications in Health Planning and Management, she specializes in neurometabolism, nutrition, phytotherapy, and toxicology. Her research spans clinical biochemistry, oxidative stress, and therapeutic interventions for metabolic and neurodegenerative disorders. She has co-authored multiple peer-reviewed publications on topics such as vitamin D and metformin synergy, diabetes-induced gonadotoxicity, and natural product pharmacology. Dr. Abdulrahim teaches across undergraduate and postgraduate programs in medicine, anatomy, physiology, nursing, and medical laboratory sciences. She is affiliated with professional bodies including the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) and the Medical Women’s Association of Nigeria (MWAN).
