Gülşah Tikiz-Ertürk
Dr.
Gülşah Tikiz-Ertürk
is a lecturer who has mostly taught English at the tertiary level and trained pre-service English teachers. She received her BA from Uludağ University, her MA from Dokuz Eylul University and her PhD from the same university in English Language Teaching (ELT). She has worked at various universities in Türkiye and has been working at the Social Sciences University of Ankara, School of Foreign Languages since 2023. Dr. Tikiz-Ertürk, who has undertaken many different academic and administrative duties during her academic career, has many studies published in national and international refereed journals on foreign language education and conducts her studies in the field of teaching English as a foreign language. Her main research interests include language teaching methodologies, teacher education, critical literacy education, pragmatics and academic writing.
