Gül Selin Türkyılmaz

Gül Selin Türkyılmaz was born in 1978 in İstanbul. After she graduated from Eyüboğlu High School (1995) she continued her higher education with a BA degree in Sociology in Mimar Sinan University (1999). Then she received her MA degree in Human Resources Management and Public Administration from Marmara University, İstanbul (2002). She received her PHD degree in Organizational Behavior from Marmara University, İstanbul (2008). She started her academic career as a research assistant in 2001 at Maltepe University. Following her experience at Maltepe University (2001-2012) she has worked as a lecturer at Okan University (2012-2014), Beykent University (2014-2022), Bahçeşehir University (and currently at Doğuş University. She received her Associate Professorship in 2021 in the field of management and organization. Beside her academic positions she also held administrative positions such as being the Erasmus Coordinator of the faculty. She participated actively in an EU funded project named Consumer Citizenship Network (2007-2009). Currently she is working as an Associate Professor at the department of Business Administration at Doğuş University. She has been giving lectures in Strategic Management, Conflict Management, Organizational Behavior, Contemporary Management Theory. Her researches focus on employee well-being, work alienation, women employees at work life. Currently she is working on research about Imposter Syndrome at work life.
