Gayle Nelson Evans
is a Clinical Assistant Professor in Science Education at the University of Florida. Her work centers around STEM teacher education, with a focus on secondary science teacher preparation. As the science coordinator for the UFTeach Secondary Mathematics and Science teacher preparation program, she engages in teaching, scholarship and service towards creating learning environments for teachers and students to participate in inquiry and investigation as the vehicles for learning science, computer science, engineering and mathematics.
