Gautam Tanwar is a hospitality professional, culinary expert, and academician with more than 15 years of experience across the hospitality industry and collegiate education. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor and Culinary Expert at the School of Hospitality & Tourism, Bahra University, while also pursuing as Research Scholar for Ph.D. in Hotel Management at Bahra University, Waknaghat. His professional foundation was laid with The Oberoi Group, where he was trained under the prestigious Systematic Training & Education Programme (STEP) of the Oberoi Centre of Learning & Development. This rigorous training instilled in him the values of discipline, service excellence, and a deep understanding of the culinary and hospitality domains. Over the years, Gautam has held key roles that allowed him to bridge operational expertise with culinary innovation. In academia, he has carved a niche by blending tradition with modernity, by teaching classical culinary practices while embracing contemporary techniques and global hospitality trends. His teaching philosophy emphasizes not just skill, but also adaptability, professionalism, and creativity.
