Gamze Nil Arkan

Gözde Sunal
completed her undergraduate studies in Visual Communication Design at Istanbul Commerce University between 2004 and 2009. She earned her master's degree in Radio, Television and Cinema from Marmara University between 2009 and 2011, and completed her PhD in Communication Sciences at Maltepe University between 2011 and 2015. Since 2009, Sunal has been working at the university from which she graduated, and she currently serves as the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Communication at Istanbul Commerce University. In addition to her academic publications, she serves as a jury member in various artistic events and has received several awards. Sunal is the author of the books “In Pursuit of Images: Photography-Cinema-Time” and “The Unconscious in Cinema and New Surveillance.” Her areas of expertise include communication studies, film and media research, film production and management, cinema and psychology, film analysis, and aesthetics.
