Galit Margalit Ben-Israel
Galit M. Ben-Israel
is a terrorism analyst and senior lecturer of Political Science. She teaches at the Center for Society and Community Studies at Beit-Berl Academic College and in the Department of Multidisciplinary Studies at Achva Academic College, both located in Israel. Additionally, Dr. Ben-Israel is a lecturer at St. Kliment Ohridski University of Sofia, in the Political Science Department. Her courses include: World Politics and Globalization, Modernism & Postmodernism in Communication, European and Palestinian Terrorism: A Cross-Cultural Comparison (60's-80's), Jihadist Terrorism in the Era of Digital Globalization, The Digital Revolution and its Social Implications, Violent Conflicts after the End of the Cold War. Dr. Ben-Israel's research focuses on specific issues such as: Hostage-Barricade-Terrorism (HBT), Disaster management through social media, Strategy, tools, and methods of ISIS, The changing nature of armed conflict in the 21st century.
