Gail H. Marshall

Gail H. Marshall has conducted university research on national water quality assay procedures and taught science education in various settings. In K-12 settings, she functioned in various capacities from science teacher to administrator. She also trained teachers on becoming better in science teaching and grant writing. In higher education settings, she worked as a science education faculty member, supervised interns, and mentored doctoral students. She co-authored 20+ federally-funded Improving Teacher Quality Grants and many others focusing on research and community outreach. She does professional development on science topics (e.g., energy, environment) and improvement of instruction (e.g., STEM/STEAM). She received local, state, and national awards and has traveled widely related to her interests and professional organizations, presenting and teaching on state, national, and international levels.
