Filiz Yildirim
Filiz Yildirim
is a professor at Ankara University (Turkey), Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Social Work. She was awarded a “Doctorate Research Scholarship” from TUBITAK to carry out a part of her doctorate research at the Department of Sociology, Criminology & Law at the University of Florida, the USA in 2011. She received the “International Young Scholar Award” from the Society for Research on Adolescence in Canada in 2012. She worked as a “Visiting Research Associate” at London University, Institute of Education, Department of Childhood, Families & Health in 2014. Her main research interests include woman studies, early (child) marriage, health literacy, sustainability. She is also a post-doctoral fellow at Hacettepe University (Turkey), Department of Sociology”.
